Bearsden Burgh Hall Glasgow

I wanted to go and see Fourgoodmen play in Glasgow and at the same time surprise Graeme because it was his birthday on the 28th and I had some birthday messages for him from his Wet Wet Wet fans which I made into a big poster. Luckily for me I could stay at my usual B&B...... my dear friend Denises house :-)

We arrived at the Hall pretty early and the first person I saw was Will. He looked at us and smiled and I went over to say hi. It was great to finally meet him. We sat down and had something to drink.
The support for the night was pretty good and they played all kinds of 80s songs. I was just looking around when I spotted Sandra and Andrea. They told me they would try to come along and I was glad they made it. Great to meet these two girls and they are really FUN to be with.
After the support there was a raffel and then Fourgoodmen were coming on stage. Graeme was on stage first and at one point he looked our way and I thought he had noticed us but I guess he didn't, not then anyway. Later he did but that was because I was standing right in front of him. He looked very surprised and started to laugh. Not long after that the whole band knew I think.

The gig was just awesome, we loved every minute of it and danced and sang along. These guys are so incredible, great musicians and they know how to get the crowd going.
After they did a few songs Yvonne came out with a birthday cake with ONE candle and the whole band and crowd sang Happy Birthday to Graeme which I thought was brilliant. Of course he got the candle out in one blow which made him and the whole venue cheer for him :-)

The gig was all over much to soon but there was a big bonus because all the guys and girls came out for a chat. It was wonderful to talk to them although I was a bit deff from standing in front of the speakers all night and with their Scottish accent its not always easy for me to understand them. Graeme was lovely (as always) and he was very pleased with his Birthday poster with all the messages.
